Simon started his career designing and building sails in his early 20's; learning from Joe Fernandes, an old world craftsman from Portugal.

In the late 80's Simon entered into a partnership with engineers Harvey Griggs and Alan Slater, creating PDQ Yachts, which went on to build 300 luxury cruising catamarans in Whitby, Ontario.  The boatbuilding endeavour left Simon with skills in multiple disciplines including building with stainless steel, composites including epoxy, and sophisticated custom woodwork. 

Simon's love for design and building beautiful pieces has only grown over the years, and he is wanting to once again share his creativity with others through custom pieces for the home.
